Pre-poll rigging has begun: Nawaz Sharif
ISLAMABAD, JUNE 06 (DNA): Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday complained of the pre-poll rigging.
During a media talk outside the Accountability Court, Nawaz Sharif said that pre-poll rigging not started today but with my disqualification.
Nawaz Sharif said that my disqualification for the presidency of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) under Article 62 and 63, was also the part of this pre-poll rigging.
He claimed that pre-poll rigging is evident as PML-N’s candidates were not given party tickets in Senate elections.
Earlier on Tuesday, Nawaz Sharif said that now caretaker government is fully responsible for load shedding.
In response to a question about Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor’s comment regarding social media, Nawaz Sharif said that if your internal affairs are smooth everything is perfectly done.
He said that a single member bench has no rights to snub laws of the Parliament.
After question about providing support for Reham Khan’s book, Nawaz Sharif rejected the claim.
