Corps Commanders express resolve to ensure writ of state

RAWALPINDI, Nov 13 (DNA): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa presided over the 215th Corps Commanders Conference held at General Headquarters on Tuesday.
According to a press statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the forum reviewed geo-strategic environment and security situation of the country.
The meeting also discussed progress of ongoing operations, fencing along Pak-Afg border, situation along Eastern Border including Indian ceasefire violations deliberately targeting innocent citizens.
The forum reiterated to continue its efforts for bringing enduring peace in the country while supporting all initiatives towards regional peace.
The forum also expressed its resolve for continued support to all state institutions for ensuring writ of the state and rule of law in which lies the peace, stability and prosperity of the country.
In a tweet, Director General Inter Services Public Relations Major General Asif Ghafoor said Geo-strategic environment and security situation of the country was reviewed in the conference.
He said progress of ongoing operations, fencing along Pak-Afghan Border, situation along Eastern Border, including Indian ceasefire violations deliberately targeting innocent citizens were also discussed.

DG ISPR said forum expressed its resolve for continued support to all state institutions for ensuring writ of the state and rule of law.
