In a shocking turn of events, the secret balloting for Senate Chairman’s election on Thursday resulted in the victory for the PTI government, as the opposition alliance couldn’t keep their members intact to remove Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani.

The no-confidence motion against Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani was the center of heated debates for quite some time as the opposition parties were flexing their muscle in a show of strength to the incumbent government.

Despite all the get together dinners by the Paksitan Peoples Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PMLN) and the rest of the opposition parties, the effort proved futile and was a big blow to their anti-government campaign as they lost in the number game.
