LAHORE, MAR 23, (DNA) -The prominent political personalities on Thursday wished the nation on 77th Pakistan Day and prayed for the development of the country.

According to details, the celebrations of Pakistan Day were begun with traditional zeal and enthusiasm to mark Lahore Resolution that led to the creation of a separate homeland for the Muslims of South Asia in 1947.

The leaders took to social networking site Twitter and posted their messages in connection to the Youm-e-Pakistan.

Spokesman of ministry of foreign affairs Nafees Zakaria said thank you to the Pakistan movement leaders and those who sacrificed their lives for the creation of homeland.
