Police track down cell phone thieves
ISLAMABAD, JUN 04 (DNA) – Islamabad Koral police have busted a gang of mobile thieves and recovered nine cell phones and cash from them, a police spokesperson said.
Following complaint of theft at a cell phone shop in Ghauri Town Phase IV, SP (Rural) Dr Syed Muustaf Tanveer constituted a special team to ensure arrest of thieves.
A special team headed by SHO Koral Inspector Rukhsar Mehdi and others including Sub-Inspector Muneer Ahmed, Head Constable Muhammad Akhtar and other was constituted.
They tracked down the suspects and arrested them. The suspects have been identified as Zahoor, Abdi, Fazlul Haq.
Police recovered nine mobile phones and cash from them.
