PML-Q to stage one-night sit-in in memory of Model Town massacre
LAHORE, 15 JUNE, (DNA) – With a passage of time, things have changed and so does attitude of the leaders as sit-ins against corruption lasting months have changed into small processions.
Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhary Pervez Elahi had revealed a new secret about Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s (PAT) time span of staging a sit-in in the memory of Model Town massacre which resulted in 14 casualties of inhumane police brutality on PAT workers.
Elahi said that PAT had planned to stage sit-in for a night on June 17 which would start from Sehar and end at Iftar. Every party had decided to participate in the procession, he disclosed. =DNA
