PML-N’s MPA Malik Zahoor Anwar Awan dies

CHAKWAL, FEB 22, (DNA) – Member of Punjab Assembly (MPA) Malik Zahoor Anwar Awan died after three years illness and was buried at Lahore on Wednesday evening.
He was elected as MPA from PP-23 Chakwal-IV on the the ticket of ruling (PML-N). After his success, cancer was diagnosed to him and he went to USA for treatment where he remained for two years but at last doctors had declared that cancer was at its final stage.
Now, he was getting treatment at Lahore during which he breathed his last. He was elected in 2008 elections on the ticket of PML (Q) but in 2013 he contested election on the ticket of PML-N.
Malik Zahoor was basically a bureaucrat as he was retired as a federal secretary. His funeral was attended by hundreds of people.=DNA
