GUJRAT, MAR 04 (DNA) – Emerging triumphant in the Senate elections, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is all set to hold a public gathering (Sunday) at Kotla Stadium in Gujrat city of Punjab.
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz will address the rally today.
All arrangements have been finalized and the venue has been decorated with party flags and posters. It will be the first rally of the party after Senate polls.
The city administration has inspected all security arrangements for the event by late night, besides deploying police personnel at and around the venue.
All activists and workers of the PML-N kept on rallying across the city on Saturday night in an attempt to mobilize masses to attend today’s public gathering.
The ruling party leaders have accelerated their activities across the country in an apparent move to solicit support for the upcoming general elections in 2018.
