PM to participate in Pak-Belarus Business & Investment Forum

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would leave for Belarus capital Minsk on August 10, on the invitation of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
It would be the first ever visit by any Prime Minister of Pakistan to the Republic of Belarus.
The Prime Minister’s visit was taking place soon after the Belarusian President had visited Pakistan in May this year.
During the visit, the Prime Minister would hold delegation-level talks with the President and the Prime Minister of Belarus.
The Chairman of the Council of Republic and the Chairman of the House of Representatives of Belarus will also call on the Prime Minister.
Officials said the Prime Minister would be conferred the title of honorary Professor of the Belarus State University.
A number of important agreements and memoranda of understanding are expected to be signed during the visit.
The Prime Minister would participate in Pakistan-Belarus Business and Investment Forum and was also expected to visit top Belarusian industrial units.
A Pakistan Mango and Film Festival would also be held during the visit of Prime Minister, the spokesman said.
