PM Imran to visit Lahore today for day-long visit
LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan will reach Lahore on a day-long visit today (Saturday) to hold key meetings.
According to sources, PM Imran will hold a meeting with Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar and Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar.
The prime minister will also chair an important meeting in Lahore to discuss the overall political and Covid-19 situation in Punjab.
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad will brief him on Aab Pak Authority and other welfare measures.
Sources further informed that Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of Quaid-e-Azam Business Park in Sheikhupura. Investment of Rs 250 billion is expected in Quaid-e-Azam Business Park.
PM Imran will also attend the launching ceremony of Monsoon tree plantation campaign. He will also plant a tree under the campaign.
Prime Minister Imran Khan yesterday inaugurated the monsoon tree plantation campaign in Kahuta and announced that the federal government set a target to plant 10 billion saplings across the country.
PM Imran Khan inaugurated the monsoon tree plantation drive by planting a sapling in a ceremony held in Kahuta. The premier was accompanied by his Adviser on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam and State Minister for Climate Change Zartaj Gul.
While addressing the ceremony, PM Imran Khan paid tribute to the passion of the youth for their participation in the tree plantation campaign across the country.
