PM directs Info Minister to look into media’s problems

ISLAMABAD: The Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has directed the Information Minister Murtaza Solangi and the Information Ministry officials to look into the problems of the media industry and resolve them on priority.
He passed these directions during a meeting with the Information Minister Murtaza Solangi, Secretary Information Zahoor Ahmed and the Principal Information Minister Dr Tariq Mahmood.
The Prime Minister recognized media role. He said the government believes in independence of PRESS.
He asked the Ministry officials to continue meetings with the media bodies for better coordination between the government and the media.
