PM accepts PIA chairman’s resignation
ISLAMABAD, 04 FEB (DNA) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has accepted the resignation of Chairman Pakistan International Airlines Nasir Jaffer.
A spokesperson of the Prime Minister House said the Chairman of the national flag carrier tendered his resignation following the nationwide strike by its workers, against the proposed privatization of the airline, reported the Radio Pakistan.
The Spokesperson said that the Secretary Aviation has been given the additional charge of the airline. DNA
