PM Abbasi arrives in Karachi to preside over meeting on load shedding

KARACHI, APR 23 (DNA) – Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has reached Karachi today (Monday) to preside over the meeting of Cabinet Committee on Energy to review the ongoing loadshedding crisis in the city.
The meeting will be held at the Governor House Karachi during which a report on the ongoing loadshedding crisis will be present to PM Abbasi.
The meeting will also be attended by Federal Minister for Power Division Sardar Awais Ahmed Leghari, Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance, Dr Miftah Ismail, CEO K-Electric Tayyab Tareen, MD SSGC Ameen Rajput and other high ranking officials.
The meeting will also sought reports from K-Electric and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) in regard to loadshedding crisis in Karachi.
On his arrival Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair received the Prime Minister at the airport. Minister for Power Sardar Awais Khan Leghari also accompanied the Prime Minister.
