PFF holds coaching clinic for females in Gilgit-Baltistan
Lahore : Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) held coaching clinics for women footballers in Danyore, Gilgit, and Gulmit, Gojal, Hunza.
As many as 150 youngsters took part in the coaching clinic led by PFF’s National Technical Director, Daniel Limones who gave basic training and tips to the participants.
While sharing his experience, Limones appreciated PFF for taking the initial step to promote the game in Gilgit-Baltistan.
“The programmes conducted in Gilgit and Gulmit have been the first successful bite to create that hype and will to evolve with the grassroots and in this case with girls and women,” said Limones.
PFF’s General Secretary Manizeh Zainli is looking forward to providing as many opportunities as she can to the talent of Gilgit-Baltistan in the limited time-period she has.
“There is such talent exploding from this land of ours, all we need to do is give them the right tools and watch them bloom,” said Zainli. “Gilgit and Gulmit have opened my eyes to a new world of football in Pakistan and I hope I can bring my plans to fruition in the limited time I have,” she concluded.
