Petrol price likely to go down by Rs1.52 per liter

ISLAMABAD, 21 DEC (DNA) – Prices of petroleum products are likely to reduce by Rs4.80 per liter from January 1 due to continuous decline in oil prices in the international market.
According to Oil and Gas Regularity Authority (OGRA) sources, reduction of Rs1.52 per liter is expected in petrol price if the government agreed to reduce the additional GST.
Price of high speed diesel is expected to reduce by Rs2.50, high octane Rs4.80 per liter, kerosene oil Rs3.60 per liter and light diesel price could go down by Rs3.50 per liter. Masses could not enjoy this relief if the government maintained 48% additional GST on petrol and 22% on petrol. DNA
