ISLAMABAD, DEC 27 (DNA)  – PEMRA Authority in its 147th meeting held on Thursday at PEMRA HQs Islamabad, approved grant of two Landing Right Permissions toM/s. Standard Services (Pvt.) Limited, Lahore for Foreign Satellite TV Channel “E-1” and M/s. Bells Entertainment (Pvt.) Ltd., Lahore for Foreign Satellite TV Channel “Minimax” both under children category.

The Authority was also apprised on progress regarding registration of companies for TAM services, as per TAM Regulations 2018.

 It was briefed that out of ten (10) companies that have applied andfive(5) companies have been provisionally registered with PEMRA so far.

Chairman PEMRA Muhammad Saleem Baig presided over the meeting while Shafqat Jalil, Secretary Information and Broadcasting, Muhammad Naveed, Chairman PTA, and other members including Ms. Nargis Nasir, Member Punjab, Ms. Shaheen Habibullah, Member KP, Sarfaraz Khan Jatoi Member Sindh, and Ashfaq Jumani, Executive Member PEMRA were also present in the meeting. =DNA
