PDMA’s newly-established control room inaugurated
QUETTA, JUN 04 (DNA) – Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri on Sunday inaugurated the newly-established emergency control room of Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) in Quetta.
On this occasion, the PDMA Director General Mohammad Tariq Rana briefed the chief minister about the purpose and function of the control room.
He, while giving the briefing to the chief minister, said that the control room would be capable of coping with any type of emergency immediately.
Meanwhile, the chief minister handed over to the Levies Force keys of ten armoured vehicles to combat terrorism. He also announced to provide funds for the provision of twenty more armoured vehicles to Levies.
