Passenger plane carrying ’60 people’ missing in Iran
TEHRAN, FEB 18 (DNA) – A passenger plane carrying around 60 people crashed in Iran on Sunday in central Iran, reported international media.
Earlier, an Aseman Airlines flight missed in Iran after it went disappeared from radar. The plan was en route to Yasug from Tehran when it has disappeared.
The plane crashed in a mountainous area near the town of Semirom, the news agency ISNA quoted emergency services spokesman Mojtaba Khaledi as saying.
Rescue teams have been sent to the spot to search for survivors.
