Parliamentarians, COAS vow to purge country of extremism with ‘shared responsibility’
RAWALPINDI, SEPT 18 (DNA) – A group of parliamentarians and the chief of army staff reiterated their resolve to purge the country of extremism through a synergetic, whole-of-the-nation approach based on the principle of “collective potential and shared responsibility”, a statement issued by the military’s media wing said.
The development came during a meeting of a visiting delegation comprising members of Defence Committees of the Senate and National Assembly with Army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters, Rawalpindi on Monday.
