Panama Case verdict announcement may be delayed until August 15
ISLAMABAD, JUL 27 (DNA) – According to a new roster issued by the Supreme Court of Pakistan today, two of the three judges on the special Panama case implementation bench will be out of the city until August 11.
Moreover, the apex court has formed benches that will hear the cases for the upcoming week until August 11, Friday.
It, therefore, appears that the much-awaited announcement of the Panama Case may be announced after August 14 Independence Day national holiday.
Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed will be hearing cases in the apex court’s Lahore Registry while Justice Ijazul Ahsan will be proceeding on leave, the roster stated.
Only Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, who heads the bench, will be available in Islamabad.
