ISLAMABAD, JUL 10 (DNA) – Panama case Joint Investigation Team (JIT) under the leadership of Wajid Zia reached the Supreme Court to present the team’s final probe report to Supreme Court’s special implementation bench.

The investigators carried with them documents in two cartons. Sources are reported to have said that the documents included three copies of the final probe report of the JIT.

Earlier, the JIT  reviewed the final probe report before submitting it to the apex court.

The JIT constituted on May 5 by the Supreme Court’s was responsible for probing the money trail of the Sharif family-owned properties overseas.

The JIT members, the other day remained busy preparing the report, sources are reported to have said.

A red alert has been issued for the federal capital’s Red Zone, where the Supreme Court is located, and strict security measures are in place. Moreover, police and Rangers will be deployed both inside and outside the Supreme Court premises, officials said.

Prominent PML-N leaders addressed the media at separate events across the country the other day.
