Palestinian ambassador bids farewell to Indian high commissioner
ISLAMABAD, OCT 30 (DNA) – Ambassador of Palestine Walid Abu Ali hosted a reception to bid farewell to High Commissioner of India Gautam Bambawale at the Palestine House.
The reception was attended among others by ambassadors of South Asia and Central Asia. Chief of Protocol Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman CDA Sheikh Anser Aziz also attended the event.
Ambassador of Palestine in his brief remarks lauded services of the outgoing Indian high commissioner and wished him best of luck for his future endeavours.
The Indian high commissioner Gautam Bambawale also spoke on the occasion and thanked the Palestinian ambassador for hosting him and his wife at the Palestine House.
The Indian high commissioner said he was supposed to stay in Pakistan for another year however his foreign office asked him to move to Beijing therefore now he is going to Beijing.
He said he spent a good time in Pakistan and made a lot of friends. He would always remember his days spent in Pakistan. Guests were served with traditional and delicious Palestinians delicacies.=DNA
