Palestine ambassador fetes outgoing Tunisian ambassador

ISLAMABAD, JULY 6 (DNA) – Ambassador of Palestine Ahmed Rabei hosted a farewell reception for the outgoing ambassador of Tunisia Adel Elarbi, who is leaving Pakistan after completing his four year term.
Ambassador Adel Elarbi who is also Dean of the African Group, spent an eventful four year term in Pakistan during which relations between Pakistan and Tunisia were intensified.
Ambassador of Palestine in his brief remarks eulogized services of the outgoing Ambassador of Tunisia and wished him success in his future endeavours.
Ambassador Ahmed Rabei said the Tunisian ambassador contributed greatly towards promotion and strengthening of relations between two countries.
He said his departure had made the diplomatic community sad but then this is diplomacy and one has to leave one day.
Ambassador Adel in his remarks thanked the Ambassador of Palestine for hosting reception for him and his wife.
He said during his tenure he tried his best to further strengthen bilateral relations by specifically focusing on trade and economic relations.
Ambassadors of African group and Saudi Arabia, Kuwait also attended the reception. Senior officials from ministry of foreign affairs were also in attendance.
Guests were served with traditional Palestinian cuisines, which they liked very much.=DNA
