Pakistanis repatriated via Poland arrive home

ISLAMABAD: The first group of Pakistanis evacuated from Ukraine to Poland is now being repatriated by the special Warsaw-Islamabad through PIA airplane. Flight number PK 7788 would be landing in Islamabad tonight bringing the first batch of evacuated Pakistanis.
This is a joint effort of Embassy of Pakistan in Warsaw, Embassy of Poland in Islamabad and Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Poland. Mr. Piotr Opalinski , ex Ambassador to Pakistan and currently serving as a a Minister Plenipotentiary for Asia, has played a great role in coordinating and assisting together with Malik Muhammad Farooq, Ambassador of Pakistan in Poland to make sure that Pakistanis are evacuated safely.
It is pertinent to mention that Mr. Opalinski has been in Pakistan for over a period of 12 years and his current contribution in assisting in evacuation of Pakistanis is worth being highlighted.
