Pakistani students return home after completing Chinese language course
BEIJING, JAN 29 (DNA) – The first batch of Pakistani students who successfully completed the two-year Chinese language course at Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) left here for Lahore on Monday.
The batch comprising 66 students, a part of 495 students selected on merit under the Punjab Government Scholarship Programme, were arrived to study Chinese language in different institutions and universities here in April 2016.
These students were sent in year 2016 and during their stay in China they not only focused on learning Chinese language but also actively took part in extracurricular activities.
A number of students opined that the Chinese language course would greatly be beneficial for their future life.
They said the Chinese was second international language after English and they were anticipating a lot of opportunities in the projects being completed under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) framework after returning to homeland.
