Pakistani film Janaan screened at German embassy
ISLAMABAD, DEC 10 (DNA) –Pakistani feature film Janaan was screened at the German embassy auditorium.
The film screening event was jointly organized by ambassador of Bosnia Nedem Makarevich and Ambassador of Germany Ina Lipel.
The hallmark of the film, among other things, was performance of the Bosnian ambassador who played a leading role in the film.
The film shoot took place in Canada and Pakistan’s beautiful valley Swat. The story revolves around a family settled in Canada but actually belongs to Swat.
The family decides to visit Swat and a re-union with other family members. The film also is an exquisite example of typical Pakistani romance in which the Canadian girl, who went to Canada in her childhood, re-unites with the childhood friend Asfandyar.
Ambassador of Bosnia Nedim Makarvich, also plays an important role in the film. Ambassador Nedim who is a well-known guitarist also, entertained his lovers with excellent performance.
The diplomatic community, who was present on the occasion, lauded him for his impressive performance in the film.
Some ambassadors told this agency that they had come only to see performance of Ambassador Nedim because it was a pleasant surprise for them that the ambassador was an actor also.
The Bosnian ambassador, in his, remarks thanked the audience for their encouragement. He also thanked the German ambassador for hosting the event.
Likewise he was also all praise for the team of movie Janaan, who had come to Islamabad for this show.=DNA
