Pakistan win toss, opt to bat in first Test against South Africa
CENTURION, (DNA) – Pakistan on Wednesday won the toss and decided to bat first in the first test match of the series against South Africa at SuperSport Park in Centurion.
Pakistan had one late injury problem to deal with for the series-opener as batsman Haris Sohail was ruled out on the morning of the match with a knee problem. He was replaced by Shan Masood.
An injury-hit Pakistan suffered yet another setback when batsman Haris Sohail was skipped for the first match due to his knee injury earlier today. Shan Masood replaced him, in what is his first Test in over a year.
Paceman Mohammad Abbas and spinner Shadab Khan have already been dropped due to injuries earlier.
