Pakistan will not allow use of its soil for subversive activities: Moeed
Islamabad : Adviser to Prime Minister on National Security Dr. Moeed Yusuf says Pakistan would not allow any country to use its soil for terrorism and subversive activities.
Talking to a private news channel, he said Pakistan is playing an important role in maintaining peace in the entire region.
The National Security Adviser said the prevailing situation of Afghanistan is perturbed for the entire region as it is facing worst kind of internal disturbance.
A failure to achieve peace in Afghanistan is the most immediate challenge facing by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Moeed Yusuf said Pakistan has always wanted an Afghan-led and Afghan-owned negotiated political settlement of the Afghanistan, which is the only way forward to achieve peace in the region.
