Pakistan will always stand with Kashmiris even if world does not: PM Imran

ISLAMABAD, SEPT 29 (DNA) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has arrived in Pakistan after successful conclusion of his seven-day hectic United Nations (UN) visit, primarily focused on Kashmir dispute. The Prime Minister left for Pakistan from Jeddah where he had a brief stopover in his travel itinerary from New York to Islamabad.

Prime Minister Imran Khan was given an outstanding reception by Federal Ministers and cabinet members. PTI workers in huge numbers were also present at the airport to welcome PM Imran Khan at New Islamabad Airport.

PTI supporters carried flags, banners and posters lauding PM Imran’s performance on what was dubbed his ‘Mission Kashmir’, and the capital’s streets were also lined with similar decorations.

PM Imran Khan while addressing the audience at Islamabad Airport thanked nation for praying for him and for their Kashmiri brethren.

He said now Pakistan and whole world stand by Kashmiris. He said these efforts for Kashmiris are not less than a Jihad. He said 8 million people are in a state of curfew.

The prime minister asked his supporters not to lose hope in bad times since struggle is all about ups and downs.

The Prime Minister during his visit to New York met a number of world leaders and apprised them of the deteriorating human rights situation in Occupied Kashmir, after the illegal and unilateral steps taken by India on fifth of last month.

In his address at the UN General Assembly, he drew the world attention towards the plight of Kashmiris and asked the United Nations to play its due role in urging India to lift the inhuman curfew imposed in Occupied Kashmir for over fifty days.=DNA
