Pakistan wants diplomatic solution to Yemen crisis: President
MADINA MUNAWARA, 20 JUNE (DNA) – President Mamnoon Hussain has unequivocally stated that Pakistan stands by Saudi Arabia and would not accept any move of the Houthi rebels.In an interview in Madina Munawara, he said Pakistan wants diplomatic solution of the Yemen crisis. He said a large Pakistani diaspora in Saudi Arabia serves as a bridge between the two countries.
Mamnoon Hussain said deep rooted relations between the two brotherly countries are based on strong foundations.
He said Pakistani people have great love for the Haramain Shareefain. To a question, the President said law and order situation in Karachi has improved after the operation.
He said Rangers and Sindh police will cleanse Karachi from criminals and extortionists. About Kashmir issue, the President said both Pakistan and India will have to come to the negotiation table for resolution this issue.
Meanwhile, President Mamnoon Hussain visited Roza-e-Rasool (SAW) in Madina-e-Munawara along with his family members. He offered prayers and Nawafil at Riazul Jannah. He prayed for integrity and stability in the country. DNA
