Pakistan unveils AI, FinTech, SaaS at Vancouver Summit
VANCOUVER, MAY 13 /DNA/ – Pakistan showcases its tech-prowess at the annual “Web Summit 2026” IT and IT-enabled services exhibition being held in Vancouver, Canada from May 11-14, 2026.

Establishing its footprint in the North American technology landscape, Pakistan marked a significant presence at the Web Summit 2026-the second edition of the renowned annual tech conference in Vancouver, bringing together global innovators, investors, and industry leaders.
A six-member delegation of premier IT companies is participating in the summit showcasing made-in-Pakistan cutting-edge IT-products.
Sponsored by the Pakistan Software Export Board, the apex body to promote Pakistan’s IT industry globally, the Pakistan stall was inaugrated by Consul General Mr. Shahzad Hussain.
The Consulate General of Pakistan in Vancouver and the Trade and Investment Wing in Canada are offering on-ground B2B and networking support to the delegation for meetings with the Canadian and other international participants enabling their access to the Pacific Northwest’s high-growth tech corridor.
The Pakistan delegation is focused on making new business deals and JVs in AI, FinTech and SaaS in British Columbia, across Canada and with other counterparts.
Pakistani IT sector’s active participation is a manifestation of the government’s ongoing efforts to expose the fast growing Pakistani tech entrepreneurs to the thriving North American IT-ecosystem and beyond.
Pakistan’s IT-exports to Canada alone valued US$117million, a 21 % increase in FY2025 when compared to US$96.5million in FY2024.
