ISLAMABAD, OCT 4 /DNA/ – Pakistan will participate in the 8th Meeting of the Moscow Format Consultations on Afghanistan, scheduled to be held on October 5, 2026, in Moscow, Russia, according to an official announcement issued here on Sunday.

The Pakistani delegation will be led by Ambassador Mohammad Sadiq, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) and Special Representative for Afghanistan, along with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Kabul.

The Moscow Format Consultations serve as a key regional platform bringing together major stakeholders to discuss the situation in Afghanistan, including peace, stability, humanitarian assistance, and regional connectivity. Pakistan’s participation underscores its continued commitment to constructive engagement and diplomacy on Afghanistan-related issues.
