Pakistan, Thailand relations on positive trajectory: Sh. Rasheed
ISLAMABAD, DEC 04 (DNA) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has said relations with Thailand are constantly on the move adding both countries have been cooperating with each other on various foras.
The minister expressed these words while speaking on the occasion of National Day of Thailand. A large number of guests hailing from various walks of life attended the reception.
Thai girls attired in traditional dresses presented a mesmerizing performance. Traditional Thai cuisines also remained center of attraction of guests.
The federal minister further said Pakistan, Thailand relationship would continue to thrive even in the days to come. He said bilateral relations between Pakistan and Thailand were on positive trajectory.
Thailand, he said, is an important country in the region therefore both countries need to benefit from each other. He said the government of PM Imran Khan is serious in strengthening relations with the Asian countries.
Earlier Ambassador of Thailand Pornpop Uampidhaya said Thailand and Pakistan established their relations back in 1951 therefore our bilateral relations are as old as Pakistan.
He said both countries have been cooperating with each other in many fields adding there are many Pakistani who are living in Thailand.
The ambassador hoped relations between the two countries will strengthen further in the days to come.=DNA
