Pakistan summons Afghan Ambassador to Foreign Office, seeks written explanation

ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Pakistan Foreign Office on Thursday summoned Afghanistan’s chargé d affaires in Islamabad.
Pakistan has registered strong protest over the inordinate delay and manner of return of the body of martyred SP Tahir Dawar.

FO spokesman Dr Muhammad Faisal said that an official delegation was sent to Afghanistan to bring back the mortal remain of the slain police officer.
“We lodged a protest with Afghanistan over the delay in handing over SP Dawar’s body,” he added. “We have demanded that his body be handed over to Pakistan immediately.”
