Pakistan to raise Chaman firing issue with Afghan delegation: Ayaz Sadiq
LAHORE, MAY 07, (DNA) – Speaker National Assembly (NA) Ayaz Sadiq has on Sunday said that Pakistan will raise the Chaman firing issue with Afghan delegation when it visits Pakistan.
According to details, the speaker expressed his views in a media talk in Lahore, and said Afghanistan did not give a positive reply on the matter of border security. He made it clear to continue dialogues with Afghanistan on border security issue.
Ayaz Sadiq also showed his concerns regarding the current tension between both countries, and said the peace in Afghanistan is indispensable for Pakistan’s peace. He also expressed that no such comments should be made which may further harm the relationships with the neighbor.
He briefed the media about the recent visit of Pakistan delegation to Afghanistan and said dialogues in good atmosphere were held with Afghan officials.
The speaker was confident that the current assembly would complete its tenure. He said the show of opposition parties comes and goes, but government remains persistent.
The speaker earlier distributed gifts among the children suffering from thalassemia.=DNA
