Pakistan lose 2nd Test to Sri Lanka

DUBAI – Pakistan lost five wickets for 198 runs in its pursuit to clinch a moderate 317 runs target at stumps on the fourth day of the second Test against Sri Lanka.
Green Shirts opening line up crumbled as they started their second innings. Shan Masood departed for 21 runs while Sami Aslam bagged a single run.
Azhar Ali and Haris Sohail did not impress the audience as well but Asad Shafiq and Sarfraz Ahmed resisted Sri Lankan bowlers and both are still at the crease with 86 and 57 runs respectively.
Currently, Pakistan needs 117 runs with five wickets and a final day in hand.
Earlier, Pakistan’s extra-ordinary bowling attack restricted Sri Lankan team to a mere 96 runs in second innings on Day 4 of the final Test match giving Pakistan a target of 317 runs.
The Green Shirts displayed immaculate bowling skills on the second last day as Wahab Riaz took 4 wickets while Haris Sohail sent three batsmen to pavilion.
The Sri Lankan team managed to retain the crease for 26 overs only in their final innings.
