Pakistan keen to expand ties with Romania: Minister Bosan
ISLAMABAD, JAN 12 (DNA) -Mr. Sikander Hayat Khan Bosan, the Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research warmly welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador to Embassy of Romania, Pakistan Mr. Nicolae GOIA saying Pakistan attached great importance to its relations with Romania.
Mr. Sikander Hayat Khan Bosan, the Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research introduced the work and functions of the Ministry and its attached departments to the Ambassador. He also put in the word about surplus crops that Pakistan has successfully produced.
The Romanian Ambassador condoled the unfortunate demise of the Governor Sindh last evening and paid his heart felt regards to the bereaved family.
The Ambassador was thrilled when informed that 1.7 Million Pakistani human force is working in UAE alone. He informed that the total population of whole Romania is currently less than 1 Million. This makes Pakistan a great market for variety of agricultural as well as dairy products.
It was mutually agreed upon to sign MoU between the two countries which will further lead to joint working groups on variety of sectors of mutual interest including halal certified meat, dairy and products and agricultural equipment like tractors.=DNA
