Pakistan Hockey Federation meets Governor Punjab
LAHORE, (DNA) – Pakistan Hockey Federation officials met Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar ahead of Hockey World Cup 2018.
Governor Punjab encouraged the players for the mega event. He also extended his best wishes to the national team.
President Pakistan Hockey Federation Brigadier Retired Khalid Sajjad Khokhar briefed Governor Punjab regarding the World Cup.
An honorary Hockey stick was presented to Chaudhry Sarwar by Pakistan Hockey Federation.
Head coach of National Hockey team Tauqeer Dar, assistant coaches and singer Waris Baig were also present in the meeting.
On Wednesday, Pakistan’s hockey chief selector, Islahuddin announced 18-member squad for the upcoming World Cup after consulting the team management.
