Pakistan, Egypt sign MoU to enhance defence cooperation
CAIRO, JAN 10 (DNA) – Pakistan and Egypt have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in defence sector.
The MoU was signed during the 11th round of Pakistan-Egypt Military Cooperation Committee meeting held in Cairo.
Secretary Defence Zamir-ul Hassan Shah led Pakistan’s delegation while Egyptian delegation was headed by Assistant Chief of Operation Authority of Egyptian Armed Forces Major General Moaty Ahmed Iraqy.
The two sides exchanged views on regional stability besides holding open and candid discussion on issues of mutual interest.
They explored new avenues to further strengthen cooperation in defence production, military training and exercises.
