Pakistan considers Iran as important regional partner: Zobaida
ISLAMABAD – /DNA/ – Federal Minister for Defence Production, Zobaida Jalal has said that Pakistan considers Iran as a friend and important regional partner.
She said this during a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Syed Mohammad Ali Hosseini in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
Zobaida Jalal said we have a strong resolve to further enhance our ties with Iran and opening of the crossing at Gabd Ramdan is an important step in this regard.
She said opening of the borders at various points will bring the people of both the countries close to each other and boost trade and economic activities.
On the occasion, the Iranian Ambassador said government and people of Iran are very pleased and consider it as an important step.
