A US drone strike in the North-western area of the North Waziristan Agency (around 2.5 kms from the Pakistan-Afghanistan border) on 01 September 2015 resulted in a number of casualties. Pakistan condemns such strikes which are in disregard of our territorial sovereignty and international law. These strikes also generate distrust among the local populace. We reiterate our call for cessation of such strikes.
