Pakistan shares pain of French people

ISLAMABAD, 15 JULY (DNA) – Pakistan has condemned, in strongest terms, the barbaric and cowardly terrorist attack on men, women and children who were celebrating their National Day in the French city of Nice that resulted in the loss of tens of innocent lives and injuries to scores of others.

“The Government and the people of Pakistan extend their heartfelt condolences to the Government and the people of the French Republic on this grave tragedy,” the Foreign Ministry said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families and we wish a speedy recovery to the injured.

Pakistan stands in solidarity with the French people in this hour of grief,” the Foreign Ministry spokesperson said in a statement. He said Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and stands ready to work with the international community to fight it.

ISLAMABAD, 15 JULY (DNA) – Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has strongly condemned the attack in Nice, France in which precious lives were lost and scores were injured

Our hearts and prayers are with the victims of the attack and their families, the Prime Minister said. The Prime Minister prayed for the swift recovery of those injured during the attack.

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said that the government and people of Pakistan are deeply saddened over the attack and stand in complete solidarity with the government and people of France at this tragic moment.

Being the frontline state in the war against terror, Pakistan itself has suffered immensely and has seen a series of tragedies. We share the pain and grief of French people at this critical juncture, said the Prime Minister.

Reiterating Pakistan’s condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan stands firm against every act of terror wherever it is perpetrated. DNA
