Pakistan Community of Lyon, France celebrated National Day of Pakistan
PARIS, APR 29 (DNA) – Pakistani Community celebrated the National Day of Pakistan with zeal in Lyon, the second largest city in the center of France, yesterday.
The national day ceremony was attend by the Ambassador of Pakistan to France Mr. Moin ul Haque, high officials of the city management, Consul Generals of various countries, notables of French civil society, members of the Pakistani community and media persons.
The Ambassador of Pakistan while addressing the ceremony thanked the Pakistani community in Lyon, France for commemorating the National Day and appreciated their constructive role in projecting Pakistan’s positive image in France.
He called upon them to maintain unity in their ranks and work collectively for the welfare of the Pakistan community. He said that overseas Pakistani community is an asset and thanked them for their valuable contributions for the socio-economic development of the country.
Later, the young girls and boys clad in traditional Pakistan dresses representing cultures of different regions of Pakistan sang patriotic songs and performed tableaus to highlight importance of the National Day of Pakistan.
