Pakistan beat New Zealand by six wickets to clinch T20 series
DUBAI, (DNA) – Pakistan beat New Zealand by six wickets in the second Twenty20 international in Dubai on Friday to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
New Zealand scored 153-7 with Corey Anderson (44 not out) and Colin Munro (44) after they won the toss and batted.
Pakistan overhauled the target for the loss of four wickets in 19.4 overs with Mohammad Hafeez (34 not out) hitting the winning boundary. Babar Azam scored 40 and Asif Ali made 38.
This is Pakistan’s 11th series win in succession.
Pakistan won the first match by two runs in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. The third and final match is in Dubai on Sunday.
