Pakistan to enhance military cooperation with Russia
RAWALPINDI, FEB 28, (DNA) – Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday said enhancement of military cooperation between Pakistan and Russia will have positive impact on regional security.
He was talking to Russian Ambassador Alexey Yurevich Devdov who called on him at the General Headquarters where they discussed matters of regional security.
The ambassador condemned the recent terrorist attacks and expressed grief on behalf of his country. He acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts in fight against terrorism and initiatives for economic growth.
He also appreciated the launching of Operation Radd-ul-Fasad and said that it will play a vital role in elimination of terrorism from Pakistan.
The Army Chief thanked him for Russian concerns, collaborations and ongoing cooperation with government and armed forces of Pakistan.=DNA
