Pak, Romania friendship association to act as bridge between two countries: Ambassador Emilian

ISLAMABAD, APR 18 (DNA) – Ambassador of Romania Emilian ION has said Romania, Pakistan relations are poised for a quantum leap adding people to people contacts have been given new dimensions.The Romanian ambassador who is also Dean of Europe was speaking on the occasion of a dinner hosted by Chairman Pakistan Romanian Friendship Association and Vice President of FPCCI Zafar Bakhtawari. Core committee members of the association including Ansar Mahmood Bhatti, Media Advisor, Amjad Butt Legal Advisor, Col Ihsan Piracha, Syed Ahmed and others also attended the meeting.
The ambassador further said it was quite encouraging that Pak, Romania friendship association was re-activated with the efforts of new and old members. He particularly lauded the role of Anwar Moin the former vice chairman of the Association and thanked him for his valuable input.
Likewise Ambassador Emilian assured the audience that he was there to assist and support the association adding he was trying to arrange a trip for the association members to Romania.
The purpose of the trip would be to bring peoples of both countries closer. Similarly Romania members of civil society shall also be facilitated and encouraged to come to Pakistan. (more details to follow)
