ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Officers and sailors of Pakistan Navy have been conferred with military awards approved by President Arif Alvi.

As per details, Sitara-e-Basalat has been approved for Lieutenant Commander Hameer Iftkhar for chasing the submarine of enemy. President also approved Tamgha-e-Basalat for Lieutenant Commander Khuram Dauood. Bothe officers courageously chased and Indian submarine during Pakistan India rift.

President also approved Sitara-e-Basalat for Captain Elia Hassan for completing long term mission in Indian waters.

Furthermore, three Rear Admirals of Pakistan Navy were awarded with Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) while fourteen officers of Pakistan Navy were given Sitatar-e-Imtiaz (Military). Thirteen officers of Pakistan Navy were also given Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military).
