Pak, French ties heading towards normalcy

ISLAMABAD: The French president Macron delivered a speech on the evolving Afghan situation. During his speech the French president mentioned role of Pakistan and other countries who can help bring peace in the country.
The French president’s mentioning of Pakistan in his speech has sought to normalize relations between the two countries who have maintained very close and cordial relations.
There is a strong realization on both sides that bilateral relations should not be held hostage to petty issues and both countries need to resume normal ties in order to reap benefits of each other’s expertise in various fields.
