Pak, Belarus Industrial Cooperation discussed
Minsk /DNA/ – Ambassador of Pakistan to Belarus Sajjad Haider Khan held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Industry of Belarus Mr. Alexandr Ogorodnikov. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Head of the Economic Relations Department Mr. Anatoly Grynevich.
The two sides discussed development of mutual industrial collaboration and noted the positive increase in trade figures during the current year. They also reviewed the ongoing talks regarding establishing a joint venture for tractor manufacturing in Pakistan as well as the opportunity for holding agricultural machinery exhibitions in Pakistan accompanied with demonstrations of the agricultural implements.
The Ambassador briefed the Deputy Minister on the available investment opportunities and benefits in the special economic zones being established in Pakistan under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The parties agreed to continue consultations for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
