The war game is based on the prevalent Concept of Operations of PAF and its aim is to assess the efficacy of Airpower in any future conflict. The exercise would not only incite intellectually rewarding debates on strategy and operational art but would also prove to be an effective tool for identifying own strengths and challenges, which ultimately steer the future force development process of PAF.
The exercise is an important element of the PAF’s operational planning cycle and its outcome would assist PAF in campaign planning during war.
Airpower over the years has transformed from its nascent form of a supporting arm to an independent force capable of decisively influencing the outcome of a war.
The concept of war fighting now revolves around employment of air power due to its core competencies to be effectively employed across entire spectrum of conflict.=DNA
